WHAT TIME DOES THE WEDDING BEGIN?

We're getting married at the Flagstaff House in Boulder at Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. MT. This is approximately a 15-minute drive from downtown Boulder.

**Please note the venue will not be open to guests prior to 10:00 a.m. MT.**

Valet parking for vehicles is available on-site. You may also take an Uber, Lyft, or a taxi to the venue as well.

Due to fire restrictions, no smoking of any kind is allowed on the property.

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR WHILE IN BOULDER?

October brings an average high temperature of about 64°F to 66°F, which cools down to an average overnight low of 39°F to 40°F. Weather during this month is generally crisp and sunny, though temperatures can fluctuate widely, dropping into the low 30s or reaching the mid-70s on warmer days.

For our wedding ceremony, we recommend dressing Mountain Formal: flat shoes, a nice blazer or suit, or a dress and wrap that will keep you comfortable with shifting temperatures.

Autumnal and forest-inspired colors (reds, oranges, browns, yellows, golds, greens) are absolutely suitable.

WHERE SHOULD WE STAY WHILE IN BOULDER?

We have secured two discounted room blocks at the Limelight Boulder and the Courtyard Marriott Boulder.

A variety of AirBnbs, VRBOs, and other hotels are available while in town.

Yes, you can stay in Denver if you wish. It's approximately a 45-minute drive, and Ubers, Lyfts, taxis, and rental cars are available.

WHICH AIRPORT SHOULD WE FLY INTO?

The Denver International Airport (DEN) has the most options for travelers and is about 45 minutes away. E-470 would be the most direct route from Denver to Boulder, this is a toll road.

This is an extremely busy airport, so visitors are encouraged to leave up to two hours of time before their flight when departing for TSA and security.

The Boulder Municipal Airport (BDU) does not offer commercial airline services and is therefore not recommended for travel for this event.
